Preparing to travel 1,000 klms+ in the coming days. The TTRS will be polished to within an inch of its life, watered and oiled if required, which is almost never.
This is the alternative chosen over flying somewhere. Too many delays, emergency landings and prices through the roof.
Knowing Greg, we will still be flying! Without wings.
If I’m not going to Hawaii- yet – a car cruise along the south-western coast of Australia, including The Great Ocean Road on the way back, with some stops along the way, all with Bay or Ocean Views, will just have to suffice.
First stop, a chance to catch up with Leah Nadine and the grandkids Zach Holmes Dianne Deroune Elijah Holmes Winona Youings , Daisy and April. Plus the cats – and a chook.
Accommodation is booked, no thanks to Taylor Swift (tay-tay), (who is she again?), making it difficult to stay in Melbourne with 90% of hotels booked out. Anything left priced up to $700 a night. Thanks Taylor who incidentally arrived in Melbourne Australia on the private jet last night and we are bombarded with the grand Flinders Street Station emblazoned all over in a mauve hue for someones benefit?
We were offered a fancy suite for $350 in our favourite Werribee venue, which we rejected. Instead moving to GEELONG for one night at $204 plus $35 parking.
So there.
I can look forward to beachy scenes, whales, boats, cruise ships even, a Museum or 2 and a seascape/seaview accommodation, which was the last one left!
